rocpnkcrapKeymasterSo I…read CBLfound it crazy interestingread it againread it some morestill read it all the timebrowsed all over the forumsAND I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS!I'm hoping that's typical and I guess I'm hoping for anyone with experience or insight or really just anyone to try to help me out with some questions I've thought up. It is entirely possible that I've overlooked the answer somewhere in all that. Thanks in advance for anything you can do. In no particular order:Oh and I'm 5'9, about 175. Going for more solid mass. I hit the gym in the morning most of the time (somewhere between 7 and 9). I like to think I know a little about working out, but I know I've been given (and, in turn, given out) bad advice here and there. I concede to those with more knowledge than I have. Just dumb it down a few notches pleaseĀ š®What does "a small amount of carbs with PWO shake" mean? Does one of those charts tell me? Is whey isolate the choice because of the lack of carbs or because it's the best? I've been using it right after working out (morning) and my only carbs have been the rotting banana with it (other than the milk I mix with). Should there be more than that? I have some GNC stuff from before I knew there were top of the line places to buy better supps. Can I still use it? I've been taking it at night because of the carbs in it. (Platinum Hydro Builder, I think, with like 8g and Mega Men's Daily Health or something like that [kind of multi vitamin powder I guess] has 15g). Is this stuff a waste of time or just not as good? Should I be using it at night only or mix it in with the morning for more carbs?A work day is pretty much all day; (10am-9pm at least) so realistically, I'm gone closer to 13 hours. I work at the mall, so food options aren't the greatest. I'm not picky as far as taste, but I am definitely ballin' on a budget. I know mcdonald's is retired circus animal quality if you're lucky, but is it ok for a snack/late breakfast? A mcdouble without the bun, cheese, or ketchup is two "patties" with onion, pickle, and mustard, and is 15g protein, 13g fat and 1g carbs. I usually get two orders. I know I still have to worry about 18 kinds of cancer, but will it do for now or is this just an awful idea? I usually make myself chicken salad for lunch with cans from costco. I put in a few small spoons of mayo, which I think is the carbiest thing in there (a few grams), and slice up tomato, pickle, and avocado, and add a little mustard. Is there enough fat in there with the avocado and mayo? Dinner at "6pm or so" was the recommendation for those working out at 6am, so would my dinner be 7 or 8 or so, and would my or so extend to 10pm or later, when I usually get home? Am I giving my body enough time to recoup and refill everything? Should I just bring my AB&J (almond butter; allergic to peanuts) on iron kids and eat before the night is over at work? If I do, should I still have more once I get home? Does anyone use or not use every supplement suggested? I'm in no time crunch to get huge, I just don't want to spend all my money on some of these items if they're not absolutely necessary. I mean, I know that none of them is ABSOLUTELY necessary, but I mean, will I see a crazy difference by using one of them as opposed to not and vise versa? I know you'll get results if you eat and lift, but what kind of a difference are we talking about? So far I've actually only bought whey isolate and creatine, but I do plan on some of the others. What about the difference between amounts of omega-3? I know Kiefer suggests like 600mg a day, but that would make my two month supply a five day supply. I don't like that idea much, but it's another thing I'd like to understand a little more of the difference about. I also use milk with my shakes. I've heard rumors that vitamin D is better than steroids and the best ever to build off of and I've also heard that any pasteurized milk is crap. I frickin' love milk though. I can go without those carbs in the day, since I'm not home anyway, but I'm practically salivating for a glass by the time I get home.Ā I hate making my shakes with water and I prefer milk with almost every food. Is this ok? Comments/concerns? I've been using the shockwave protocol for just over a week now. I've also heard a million things about abs: every day is ok; every other day is better; rest them just like the rest of your body, etc. Does anyone else do or recommend only once a week? Can I do at least twice? I don't feel like I need the whole weekend off, isn't just one day good enough? I used to go hard on them every single day- should I not even be touching them on all these other muscle days? Also if I miss working out in the am, does going at 10pm hurt anything? Is that less than ample time to replenish before 7 the next morning? Do I need any more or less carbs that night if I'm going different than my usual schedule? If I become fully nocturnal (getting into law enforcement, so highly probable), do I simply treat my nights like my mornings and do everything the same? The spotted banana is meant to "open up the gates," so to speak, right? (Does any banana work, just the mottled are the best)? I have one in the morning with my PWO shake. I want to have one at night as well, to help absorb all the high-gly too, correct? Does order matter? Like is that supposed to be first to "prime" my body for intake or anything, or just get it in there? Welp, that's all I can think of right now, but I'm positive more will come to me. Thank you anyone and everyone for taking the time to read and advise.

Gl;itch.eMemberWoah! Massive Post Alert!
So I...read CBLfound it crazy interestingread it againread it some morestill read it all the timebrowsed all over the forumsAND I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS!
Commendations for doing your own searching first, but it seems like you didnt search as thoroughly as you could have! Nothing worse than answering the same old questions when you can find the answers on the first page of the forums. Ill answer the rest (what I can) in Red below.
I'm hoping that's typical and I guess I'm hoping for anyone with experience or insight or really just anyone to try to help me out with some questions I've thought up. It is entirely possible that I've overlooked the answer somewhere in all that. Thanks in advance for anything you can do. In no particular order:Oh and I'm 5'9, about 175. Going for more solid mass. I've been using it right after working out (morning) and my only carbs have been the rotting banana with it (other than the milk I mix with). Should there be more than that? Thats probably about right for someone your size, you could have a little dextrose as well maybe. Id shoot for no more than 40-50grams between that and the bananaI have some GNC stuff from before I knew there were top of the line places to buy better supps. Should I be using it at night only or mix it in with the morning for more carbs? Not sure of the type of carbs in that mix sorry. If you let us know the ingrediants we could better advise.A work day is pretty much all day; (10am-9pm at least) so realistically, I'm gone closer to 13 hours. I work at the mall, so food options aren't the greatest. I'm not picky as far as taste, but I am definitely ballin' on a budget. I know I still have to worry about 18 kinds of cancer, but will it do for now or is this just an awful idea? Not the best but hardly the worst. You could make this work if you cant be arsed with anything else. What time would this be?I usually make myself chicken salad for lunch with cans from costco. I put in a few small spoons of mayo, which I think is the carbiest thing in there (a few grams), and slice up tomato, pickle, and avocado, and add a little mustard. Is there enough fat in there with the avocado and mayo? Probably enough fat but of the wrong kinds. You want to prioritise animals fats over plant fats. The exception being Coconut Oil and MCTs Dinner at "6pm or so" was the recommendation for those working out at 6am, so would my dinner be 7 or 8 or so, and would my or so extend to 10pm or later, when I usually get home? Am I giving my body enough time to recoup and refill everything? Timing isnt quite so important as making sure you get what you need for the day. Go by feel and routine.Should I just bring my AB&J (almond butter; allergic to peanuts) on iron kids and eat before the night is over at work? If I do, should I still have more once I get home? See previous answers.Does anyone use or not use every supplement suggested? I'm in no time crunch to get huge, I just don't want to spend all my money on some of these items if they're not absolutely necessary. I mean, I know that none of them is ABSOLUTELY necessary, but I mean, will I see a crazy difference by using one of them as opposed to not and vise versa? I know you'll get results if you eat and lift, but what kind of a difference are we talking about? So far I've actually only bought whey isolate and creatine, but I do plan on some of the others. From what I can tell Kiefer primarily recommends fishoil, creatine and a good whey iso/hydrolysate. Caffiene on ocassion. Of those Fish Oil is certainly a must. Creatine depends on how you respond to it. does nothing for me. And a good Whey for PWO. Fish Oil is great for a good many things and should be in everyones diet regardless of goalsWhat about the difference between amounts of omega-3? I know Kiefer suggests like 600mg a day, but that would make my two month supply a five day supply. I don't like that idea much, but it's another thing I'd like to understand a little more of the difference about. Buy in bulk and it should be cheap enough. 600mg doesnt sound like much actually. thatd be what 3-4 capsules a day? I also use milk with my shakes. I've heard rumors that vitamin D is better than steroids and the best ever to build off of and I've also heard that any pasteurized milk is crap. I frickin' love milk though. I can go without those carbs in the day, since I'm not home anyway, but I'm practically salivating for a glass by the time I get home.Ā I hate making my shakes with water and I prefer milk with almost every food. Is this ok? Comments/concerns? Depends on tolerance. If you can tolerate milk theres no real reason to abandon it. Of course you should be only using it as part of your Carb meals PWO. Not on Ultra Low Carb days.I've been using the shockwave protocol for just over a week now. I've also heard a million things about abs: every day is ok; every other day is better; rest them just like the rest of your body, etc. Does anyone else do or recommend only once a week? Can I do at least twice? I don't feel like I need the whole weekend off, isn't just one day good enough? If I become fully nocturnal (getting into law enforcement, so highly probable), do I simply treat my nights like my mornings and do everything the same? a million questions in one here! training at 10 is probably better than the morning anyway. Your feeding window might be smaller here so you might want to take advantage of more dense sources of carbs to get the right amount in. Abs I would train same as every other muscle as they still need time to recover and if not recovered will hinder other workouts that require stability (leg day etc). Personally training abs bores the bejesus out of me and I can barely bring myself to do a few sets on leg day. But if you like doing it why the hell not!The spotted banana is meant to "open up the gates," so to speak, right? (Does any banana work, just the mottled are the best)? I have one in the morning with my PWO shake. I want to have one at night as well, to help absorb all the high-gly too, correct? Does order matter? Like is that supposed to be first to "prime" my body for intake or anything, or just get it in there? I dont think the banana is a hard and fast rule for any reason other than it has about the right amount and type of carb for that particular scenario. Anything of similar amounts and type would work as well.Welp, that's all I can think of right now, but I'm positive more will come to me. Thank you anyone and everyone for taking the time to read and advise.
