John LaPlaca JrMemberI also believe so many factors play a role in how much progress is made. It seems like my first intial weight loss was water and carb stores and now I am averaging 2 lbs of fat a week. I haven't been over doing it on Carb nite because I don't really crave the carbs anymore and this past Sunday I had to force myself to eat at one point. I also have 11 years of lifting experience and a good amount of muscle on my frame already. I typicially drop weight relatively easy and have had success with low-carb/higher fat diets in the past. Any thing that will help me lose 2 lbs of fat or so a week with only lifting and minimum to no cardio I am a fan of. I also plan on making some adjustments each month. Once February starts I will workout on Carb nites in the afternoon to have that extra spark. In March I will probably start with HIIT and make other minor changes as the months progress. My goal is to get to 215-220 lb by June 28th. I am currently at 22% bodyfat and my long term goal is to get to 10%.

BodynsoilParticipantI took what Kiefer had to say regarding stripping fat off to mean that most diets cause you to lose weight, but the weight is both fat and lean body mass, mostly LBM over bodyfat.. With CNS or CBL, the weight you are losing is more bodyfat and less LBM, I believe this to be true. Right now I am noticing a lot of changes in my body and where I am leaning out and how my underlying muscles are looking. In the past when I lost weight my pecs looked like they shriveled up to nothing and you could see my bone structure, gross, not this time as my muscle is there but the fat is going away..

John LaPlaca JrMemberI also think for people with workout experience and have been doing this for a while you need to pretty much reprogram your mind. I used to believe that 6 meals a day was the only humanly possible way of losing weight and believed that 3 meals a day slowed down your metabolism. I also would listen to multiple sources at once and get confused. That would mess with my progress as well. I am looking at this as a new starting point and almost as a 10 year anniversary of working out for me to improve and relearn.

Ding ding ding !!WINNER!!! LolYour post hit it in the head. CNS strips off fat and leave the muscle behind so your wieght loss might be less but you've lost more fat.

Yeah, I know. It's sooo annoying. It's like you just can't read any other nutrition sites because you just know it's all BS.

Scope75GuestTotally!!Meadows and Kiefer know there shit and why listen to anyone else when your doing CNS or CBL...Plus they actually use and test out everything before we even learn about it.

John LaPlaca JrMemberSince starting on January 4th the only sources I have listened to are Kiefer(which even at times can be confusing), Jesse Burdick, and Mark Bell since they lost a good amount of fat on this diet. First time I seen this I thought this is insane and this guy is a moron. The more and more I studied it and researched it the more this diet has made since to me. I started researching it back in mid Summer so I have put a good amount of time into this before doing it. There have been a few things I didn't know of until recently but otherwise I have put time and research into Kiefer and DH.
