While I’m not using the scale for anything other than a tool in this journey….I do have a question regarding Recomposition. I fully understand that I will be gaining some muscle while losing fat but the rates can’t be the same right…What I’m asking is this. If I’m doing everything right the number on the scale should be going down because I can’t build a pound of muscle in a week so I should be seeing some type of loss on the scale correct?? I am seeing big difference in the mirror but am just trying to stay on top of the macros to be sure I’m am getting the most out of all my hard work.
Weight fluctuates. Therefore no linear. I'm sure it is frustrating to not see a number difference, but if the mirror is showing differences along with tape measurements and clothes I'd say you're good. My assumption is that they balance out, could be losing body fat quickly and muscle showing through will the filled glycogen too
Cool…Thanks for the response. I’m not extremely worried, just curious really. Honestly, I feel better the last three weeks on this plan than I ever remember. My energy levels are through the roof most days, my mood is incredible and just an overall good feeling. I do get a little more tired toward the end of the week….but damn! Never felt this good!
