Gl;itch.eMember2 ways i go bout nuts is and i agree almonds are good, eat all nuts RAW,
NAH! ;-pI love roast salted almonds far too much to ever go raw. Whats the supposed benefit that outweighs my taste preference if you dont mind me asking?

MJCMemberraw nuts are ok… I usually have them as a fat source for one meal then get some grassfed beef, salmon and a shake with mac nut oil. Mac nut oil is great if your not sold on the idea of eating high amounts of saturated fat or dont like that stuff. try starting with 1-1.5 grams protein, 1 grams Carb, and .5 grams Fat and increase based on results and activity.

Plant fats such as olive oil, mac oil, avocados, etc (Sans coconut oil) are not ideal. reason being is that they cause inflammation in the stomach and gets stored as actual FAT!
So which one is it? Yay or nay to Mac oil? Was looking to add some oil to my tuna as all the commercial oil blends use olive oil.

Plant fats used constantly cause inflammation/bloat around the stomach/gut area. and gets stored as actual body fat. Can use once in a while but pretty much it.

I think you mean vegetable oils. Check out this chart for a comparison of various fats.

CMetlerGuestMacadamia Nuts are ok occasionally, almonds same thing. Not a whole bunch though. Plant fats such as olive oil, mac oil, avocados, etc (Sans coconut oil) are not ideal. reason being is that they cause inflammation in the stomach and gets stored as actual FAT! Which is horribly true. Stick to butters, Ghee, coconut oil, animal fats. If you have left over bacon fat/grease use that to cook lean beef in or eggs. It helps save on money and more convinent. If you're wanting something crunchy to snack on have the almonds or macs every now and then.
okkkaayy... so i break my fast everyday with bacon, avacado, macadamias and grass fed cheese...so we want no avacados and less nuts? Where did you find this information, it's terribly devastating!
