Bnack328MemberHas anyone had a problem with salad causing a stall in progress? I'm about 8 weeks in and have noticed hardly any results at all.. and after logging my food and seeing totals, it looks like salad could be a good culprit to stalling progress on CN. :-

GnomerParticipantwhat do you mean by “salad” as a salad can be anyone of a million combinations of foods…

Richard SchmittModeratorUh maybe but doubtful. How much are you eating on ULC days and on the CN?

Bnack328MemberSalad is: spinach, mozzarella cheese, broccoli slaw, grape tomatoes, black olives, green peppers, boiled eggs, balsamic vinegar, EVOO.I have 1 tbsp coconut oil and 2 tbsps whipping cream in my coffee first thing in the morning, then eat lunch of the above salad and about 5 oz ground turkey, sometimes 1 tbsp raw almond butter.Dinner is some type of meat and serving of veggies in butter.CNs are from 3ish-10:00. Poptarts, cereal, skinny lattes, pudding, ice cream, pasta, m&ms... they aren't completely haywire, but they aren't "clean" either.

Richard SchmittModeratorOkay its not the veggies but the stuff you're using. Go read the oil article on the Athlete.io site. You should probably look up carb counts in that salad. The nut butter could be a contributing factor. Eat beef.

Bnack328MemberI eat beef for dinner, usually ground turkey or chicken for lunch. The nut butter has 3 net carbs per 2 tablespoons. Balsamic vinegar has 2g carbs/tbsp. I'll take a look at the oil article, if I can find it. Can you provide a direct link?

SaraParticipantI would cut out the balsamic because there's so much sugar. And back when I used to eat it, I could never just eat one tablespoon :/
