Yes I should read the book before asking stupid questions. Just one curious question, what is your carb intake when you are not on CN? Is everyone on "Keto-like" more or less year around?

Planing to be in a keto state for most of the rest of my life 🙂 Wouldn't have it any other way

I would think, once I get to desired leanness, or a BF% where CBL is applicable, I will probably do that intermittently w/ CNS. I do not for see myself ever going back a “typical western diet”.

Honestly though, I dont think anyone who has spent time on here will ever go back to what is thought of as the tradition way of eating.

@MW totally right. I just have no desire to eat like a normal person does. (Actually, seems like I have no desire to eat at all. I've gotten through all of three eggs and 100g of bacon, and it's bedtime soon.)The only ONE thing that might change once I reach my body fat and LBM and performance goals is that I might make exceptions when eating out and in social settings.

Haha Fairy, my appetite is the same. I'm not hungry most of the time too. I just force feed myself with “saturated fats”

Haha, how devastated would everyone be if Kiefer came out w/ a tubecast stating that it is actually more optimal to eat oats and blueberries no more than 30 minutes after you wake up...haha, well if it is going to happen, that tubecast will be airing on the 21st of this month.....

Do you mean what is the actual diet? If that is the question "CarbNite" is what is called a cyclic ketogenic diet. So yes, most of time you are eating high and moderate protein diet (protein amounts based off LBM is recommended). Carb intake is 30g of less a day, and 10g or less per meal, but most of us shoot for less than that (around 10g TOTAL for the day is probably typical). Then there is the actual CN which starts as a normal day (Fat and protein, but then you eat carbs at night.)The book is 20 bucks so id just buy it. Its not totally up to date, but the framework is there, and updates are available on the forum.

I have actually just got the book today, and did not read it yet completely. Thanks regarding Hi-Gi Carbs, never thought about it like that before.

What is Kiefer's recommendation now on Omega 3s? I assume most of us do not use Conola oil or eat anything that high in Omega 6s right, besides eggs. I am more or less following  Paul Jaminet's advise on nutrition now and he suggest about eating around 1lb a week of Salmon.

That's good.Kiefer also recommends having 5g of combined EPA/DHA. I think that might be more important with CBL though.

Is that cooked bacon amount? but overall how do you count carbs in banana lets say, do you open it and weight it? and then calculate based on weight or is that going crazy

I don't believe any of us eat fruit at all. Most of us just stick to Beef, eggs, bacon, butter, and coconut oil. Maybe some greens here and there.
