I’m a little confused on the protein and fat. Do I need to do the .8-1g of protein and .5-.75g of fat per lb of my starting weight of 270 or my goal weight of 220-230?

It’s dependent on your current body fat level, training time, activity level, etc.

Bf% I need to have checked, but I train 4-5x a week currently doing Stronglift 5×5 with 1 assisted day. Each session last 45-60 mins. My activity level outside of the gym isn’t that great. I work for a DME company and it consists of heavy lifting, but alot of desk sitting and driving.

I wouldn’t do .5g/BW but maybe close to .65g/BW up to 1g/BW if needed. You can leave protein around .8g/BW if you have a good amount of body fat, if not closer to 1g/BW then work your way down from there.

so @big tex, for a woman, around 30%BF current weight 159, goal 145. My work has me sitting at a computer, I consistently walk 30 minutes min daily(shoot for about 4 miles). Minimal weights(20b bar) and some crunches/squats type work. Where would you say I should be with Macros?

I would use your LBM to base around your macros, and adjust from there. So about 100g-115g protein with around 115g fats

Thanks! That’s about where I am.
