I'm wondering if anybody has played around with using bands for their ELECT exercises? It seems that one would be able to push with more force with some added band tension.
Well ELECT is really about acceleration and with bands or chains they both increase tension as you move further into the motion. Which directly causes negative acceleration.
True, but using bands or chains forces you to accelerate through the movement to finish the rep. So even though the bar may slow down the amount of force should remain constant or increase as the tension increases.
