I would still go with having the Carb Nite as planned.
I say this as I’ve consumed vodka and other non-carb spirits very heavily (~400-500ml) the night before a Carb Nite and it’s not stalled progress at all.
In those cases I’ve just tried to ensure that I don’t begin the Carb Nite before all the alcohol is gone from my system so that there’s none of the ‘fuel priority’ going on. Of course this may be different for you. Also, insulin will still spike as desired and that in turn will induce the desired hormonal afterglow that you’re after.
I do think that Kiefer highly exaggerates the damage, when he says that more than a couple drinks will destroy your fat loss such that “you can kiss your fat loss for the week goodbye”.
