Damon AmatoParticipantwhoa whoa whoa.....So got me some fat calipers today. Nothing fancy. Tested according to the instructions on just one site (suprailliac fold) - got 19%...Tested again after getting settled, 7 sites - got 15.8%...Plugged all the data into exrx.net and followed there instructions for taking the measurements...Too bad the butt area is not included as a standard place to take measurements because I am fairly certain I carry at least 5 pounds right thereΒ πI have a minor issue...hoping to get some advice, but will likely need to start new post. I fell about 5 days ago and landed on my side (ribs)...They've been pretty sore. What should I not be doing? Do I ice them? No bruising or anything, but there have been things I can't do. Really don't want to not get any activity at all.
Ice, don't heat.Β

cookiebParticipantOMG!!! TMI Alert!I don't understand how this is even remotely possible, but had a super carb nite yesterday, look great today, my big problem? No EFFING need to go to the bathroom!!!! I could scream at the frustration over this...I used to go every morning, without fail. WTF is going on here! How can someone eat all the stuff I ate yesterday and not feel like they're going to explode if they don't go! π I am not at all bloated at all FWIW (so I can only imagine how much better my tummy would look if it was empty! :P)I figured that the coffee with CO alone would be enough this AM. About to start pounding veggies hard tonight π which sucks, because I really hate veggies, except for 3 of them (spinach, brocolli, and peppers/onions<---- = one veggie)Should I skip a prep for CBL SA and just start it on Wed after my workout? I think the 4 times a week carbs might help.Really thought ice cream last night would have done the trick! I can't believe my belly area looks so flat today.

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorIf you aren't bloated and don't feel sick or anything, don't worry about it.I've had some crazy backloads and woke up without having to go to the bathroom till after lunch plenty of times.

I agree with TrevorRx, totally normal. Most high GI carbs are low fiber, so it can become very compact if you catch my drift.Β Combine that with consuming in very short window, i.e. under 8 hours and it's not the same as eating a regular 3 a day of carb/fiber/protein/fat meals like the average american where you bowels are full fromΒ begining to end. Make sense?

FairyGuestHow can your digestive system work properly when you're carrying around *7 Days* worth of food in your colon?!Your gut is going to stretch and become hyper-permeable leading to leaky gut syndrome (feces in blood stream). Is your body going to be happy with you? NO!This will lead to serious inflammation and hyper immune response. It is not leaving your body in a state fit to lose fat. This is the issue you need to get sorted ASAP.

From what I read she said she didn't have a bowel movement since the night before, which was her carb load, not 7 days. Not sure where the 7 days came from.Β None the less, anyone that hasn't gone to the bathroom in 7 days has some serious issues.

All I really eat is spinach, broccoli, peppers and onions, and brussel sprouts, and asparagus. Clears me right out.

cookiebParticipantthanks all…just gonna go back to eating my veggies…..Started back today. Easier to keep calories lower too when I don't feel so empty lol. I am still not understanding how in the world I look so good in the ab area, knowing some food went DOWN yesterday….too bad I'm ditching carb nite for CBL, because I think I finally found a good combo of foods that work for me and have me looking better – even though carbs were around 500!! Dextrose helps a ton. At least I will know what to do when I switch back from CBL next time

HAHA - My 3 favorite veggies! Ate all in abundance today. Also - I thoroughly enjoyed some broccoli as a non-smoker....tastes dramatically different

Oh no - not 7 days! It's been at least 3 times a week (but will be back to daily asap)....In reality though, my carb nite ended up being 3600 cals including HWC and CO from the morning's coffee. Didn't eat lunch and worked out early to make it back for football at 4:30The majority of the carb nite was dextrose shake, fruity pebbles, and ice cream, with only a big bowl of chicken "fried" rice being the one "heavy" item.Trying not to worry about this all. Glad I am still on my kick of not weighing myself - I'm sure the number would be quite a surprise!!!Also, starting to feel as if I am balancing out from the lack of cigarettes/nicotine in my system - finally starting to adjust I think...Taking my bodyfat measurements made me feel a little better, even though it somewhat confirms that the only thing I really need is therapy lol ;D GIRLS ARE SO HARD ON THEMSELVES! I take my 5 pounds of mush and make it twenty I think (I might even really believe that I look like I'm carrying an extra 20)...Tks to BF measurements though, I know its muscle. Being a short -jacked- girl does a number on your head I think. Glad I enjoy lifting cause otherwise I would be second guessing my efforts
