    Cool 🙂 any idea how many cups of green tea 1g of green tea extract is worth? Kinda thinking I might just drink green tea

    One average cup of quality green tea will contain approx. 80-100mg of polyphenols.  That is an estimated range, as potencies vary.That is why I take the extract, as well as drink it.  With the extract, I know how much I am getting per dose (according to the label).Cory

    Hmm. Okay. Well I've ordered some high quality green tea. The extract actually tastes fine in warm water! Better than some green teas I've tried. I think I'll just add it to everything.

    Approx. 640mg - 800mg of polyphenols.Cory

    Those numbers are based on ~8 cups a day (64 oz.).According to the article I posted, you could get by with 1 cup of REALLY potent tea.  Frankly, I'd drink 4-8 cups a day.  If I consumed only 4, I'd supp. with one dose of extract in pill form to top it off.  Then again, Tokyo Lifter thinks I am overdoing it.  LOL.This is how I've been at it for years.Cory

    No but honestly, they have a broad range of teas here in the store with different kinds and amounts of polyphenols / catechins. Most range around 80mg per 100ml. One thing that is very in here are Oolong tea polyphenols, and a special brand that has polymerized Oolong polyphenols that are supposed to have all sorts of additional effects on the fatburning.For me, I just like the tea and don't mind the extra amount of goodness I get with it.

    I posted some links on this and it seems that the green tea induces the ampk which seems to be a major factor in the fat loss.

    So drink up! I'm planning on starting to make a pitcher of green tea to drink during the day. If anything take some extract, Yohimbine HCL, Acetyl-L-Carnitine and Creatine Pre Cardio or Pre Training.
