Hi all,I'm very busy and I split my training. This means that one day I train the upper body, and the next day the lower body. And each part of the body gets a one day rest period...Of course, this means that my workouts are a little less intense - what does this entail about the back loading? SHould I cut the carbs in half???Cheers

No reason to eat less carbs.A lot of research has shown body parts only need 48 recovery anyway, so you likely are mostly ready the next time you train a body part.Plus, less carbs could impair your recovery.Anyway, have you thought about breaking it into a 3 day split (push, pull, legs?) You'll likely get better results with that and feel much better.

Hi,thanks for your reply3 day split is not really an option in the programme i'm doing...How long do spend working out then when doing a 3 day split?

I rarely spend more then 30-40 minutes working out, no matter the split I'm doing.I like a basic 5X5 style program with with a push, a pull, and a leg day.2-3 compound movements 1-2 accessory movements and I'm done.
