So I did quite a bit of searching and found lots of stuff regarding doing a sport in the AM and then training in the PM, but I couldn't find anything about playing a sport approximately 1.5-2 hours after training.I think I have the right idea down, but I wanted to see what others thought.Usually once a week I play hockey and sometimes that'll fall on a training night. So if I train from 4pm-5pm and then have hockey at 6:45pm/7pm, how should my backload go? My thoughts are about 5:30 take my PWO shake (creatine, whey, leucine, dextrose) to spike insulin for the growth and then after hockey, about 8:30pm/9pm have a big backload meal to replenish glycogen. This sound about right? Thanks,TC

Just back load after hockey if you used weights that evening.

I was lifting, then going to MMA/ Jiu Jitsu and I kept pulling muscles. Plus i think if you cardio post lifting, you body can eat your gains. But 2hrs and a meal in Between fixes that issue.
