Started Carb Nite on monday, are my macros okay?

    Fat- 140gProtein 230gCarb- 21g ~2330 kcal  Bodyweight is 193Bodyfat is roughly 14-15%Primary food sources -Beef, chicken, olives, olive oil, coconut oil, red palm oil, Kerrygold cheese, heavy whipping cream, soppresata, whey protein, fish oilI ask because I looked at a keto calculator and it said I was eating way too much protein and not enough fat.

    And the calculator is right, bring it down to at least 1g/BW, or go lower. Fat looks like it could be higher too.

    alrighty then!  Feels weird bringing my protein intake down after always trying to keep it so high.What do you think the best way to do this is?  Just eat fattier cuts of meat?  Been usually eating 93/7 beef, and chicken is pretty much fat free so I put red palm oil on top of it.

    Just choose the fattier cuts, yes, 93/7 is expensive and you can do better off with 80/20 or 85/15. Pork is another good one, use butter and CO when needed.

    Keep in mind the intent of Carb Nite, in regards to muscle mass, is just to maintain it, not build it. So you can get away with a lot less protein to just maintain.Plus when you go more moderate protein and higher fat, you should produce more ketones, which are muscle sparing as well.
