Im training for a half marathon while still doing CBL SA, and wondering if it would be better to do HIIT_ 30 min steady state on training days, or on off days
I guess it all depends on how comfortable you feel about your endurance. If not too comfortable, then I would stay away from HIIT, even though this is what Kiefer recommends in addition to steady state training. It will only get more difficult, cause with marathon training the miles increase weekly. I was training for one a few years back and completed it, but also wasn't on CBL. Hope this helps.
