I'm a French guy (re)starting out with CBL, currently 24 y.o. and restarting sport after 4 months of total break.I had a go on September til mid-november, I lost 7 kgs of fat and became strong (from 71 to 64, which is my fit weight). But then stopped for personal things and regretted it real bad as I'm back to where I was, meaning a sluggish bag of fat (71 and lost almost all my strength). I will get to it seriously and keep at it this time, hopefully.Forgot to say that although I'm quite skinny (176/70 when fat and 176 62-64 when fit), I had the hardest of times getting rid of those extra kgs, and only CBL allowed me to do so (I am like that since I'm 19, could eat like a pig and never put any kg of fat on, then suddenly started growing fat w healthy food and stuck at 70-71 :/ ).So, as a background, what I did is :Moutain climbing, rock climbing since I was a kid.Martial arts since I was around 16 y.o. and now I am using gymnastic body conditionning (coach Sommer's method for those who know) as my exercising method (it fits me really well, it's mostly bodyweight gymnastic exercises). It heavily emphasize on strengthening tendons along with muscles, with static postures and fixed cycle of training (usually 2 months), quite different from weight lifting I think (but I don't know that world too much, I've always been doing bodyweight exercises).Had a go at the Lafay method and it didn't do me much good (much tendon problems and over-training) as well.My first aim is function, not form, but as coach say, form follows function. Basically I want to be ripped but not huge, and to still have huge strength (just as a rock climber, that's my background after all, or a gymnast in this case but it's very similar in fact). Of course this fat is bothering me (+7 kg lower my bodyweight performance and makes me look like a bag) do I want to get rid of it, and that's just what I'm going to do again now than I'm back on it.As for food, no meat in my diet, usually no diaries beside whey (I made exceptions for pizzas and ice cream when starting CBL last September) and I'm only using 30gr of it after a work-out for recovery (which is really efficient, at my biggest surprise, I started using whey only recently !).I love rings, although rings hate me (and specially my wrists and elbows, but I guess that's the same as everyone right ?).Cheers !PS : I'm French and as you might be aware of, French ppl suck at English, so please don't mind me too much if I misunderstood you or said something weird  😛
