Well at least you gave it a fair shake, 2 weeks is plenty of time to assess if something works and then totally scrap it lol.
Oh and I think this is kinda BS advice anyhow. 2 weeks is nothing.
I'm pretty sure it was a p**s take comment, hence it ended with lol, and hence my comment after!
