Teen CBL Creatine?

    I’m 16 y/o, 150lbs, 15% BF.
    I’d gotten some help here before
    I’m alternating between CBL and CN
    I am keen on supplementing with creatine… I know many people will advice against for the sake of me being 16 y/o but unless you think creatine will negatively affect me, I am very keen on taking.

    I saw Kiefer says 0.3 x BW (kg) = Creatine Monohydrate (g)
    This would be about 20g of creatine mono, is that not too much considering average recommendation is about 5g?

    Hey Barca,

    By no means am I a physician, however, taking 5-20g of creatine daily at 16 years old for either helping build lean mass or aid your sports performance is going to be a lot more beneficial and healthier than the majority of things I see 16 year old’s putting in their body (energy drinks, pre-workout concoctions & stimulants, peptides, AAS etc).’

    For what it’s worth…

    You’re 16, and at this stage I think you should just focus on training hard and eating well, and things will fall into place on its own. I’m not saying you can’t or shouldn’t, but I don’t think you need to really get your mind wrapped up in certain protocols, supplements, etc. that are probably considered minutiae. I’d say enjoy your time right now, take advantage of the things you can get away with, and just keep training hard. It’s something I’ve learned, get the basics and the big picture right, and only worry about those small details when one actually needs to.
