Dr. Rocky PatelParticipantThe difference is the amount of nicotine. For the purpose we are using it for the gum is ideal. Cigarettes and dip are addictive because the amount of nicotine is much higher. Doing my second run of nicotine gum(4mg piece cut in half), and I had no problem stopping. Although I have never been a smoker or dipper.
Cigarettes at least have over 4000 chemicals added to them to make them more addictive (rocket fuel is my favorite one), i am going to assume the same for the pouches.

BigSnacksGuestNicotine may help with fat loss. “Systemically administered nicotine induces lipolysis,” one study says. (1) In laymen's terms, nicotine is a mild metabolism booster, which may partially explain why people who quit smoking often gain weight.
When I quit smoking, I put on 40lb, in what seemed like, overnight...

koubanatorGuestNicotine also helps people from ending up in prison charged with multiple 1st degree homicide charges.

How frequently are you chewing/using a piece? Just before workouts, or daily/multiple times per day?

powerdocGuestI agree that it does all of the above but I worry about another addiction. I already have caffiene and Concerta. I don't need another.

With the little amount of nicotine in the gum, really don't think it would be addictive. Even still, it's so low if you do get hooked, it will be easy to get off of it. I've been chewing since I was 14, and with all the other goodies they throw in it (fiberglass, formaldehyde, etc.), the gum does nothing to me. If you're worried, don't even try it. Just don't do meth.

Craig jonesParticipantAt the moment I'm playing with it and have some of the concerns that others have, sugar alcohols ect.But I do upon waking, after workout and after a couple of my meals with plenty of time to get it out of my system before sleep because you are alert on that shit lol.

Tanner FoxParticipantI have been chewing skoal pouches for 3 years now and these past 3 weeks have completely switched over to using nicotine gum. All I can say is the transition hasn't been hard at all and I am more focused throughout the day. I usually take 2mg with AM cardio, 2mg around 11am, 2mg at 2pm, and 2mg pre-WO. It's been working great along side CNS.

Jimmy TParticipantThis might be just what I need. My mind gets a bit hazy during the later part of the week on CNS. It would certainly help my work performance.I haven't had a chance to check, but is there an unsweetened version or it's not a concern given the small size and infrequent use?

AkumaZMemberthe only stuff I could find at my grocery store had sweeteners and shit in them as said above? any recommendations to a brand without them and where to get it?
Nicorette original is absent Ace-k, while I think all the flavored ones have it.It does have sorbitol though, as the last listed inactive ingredient.I tried out the gum for almost a month, starting with one piece a day and working up to three before I dropped it completely. No bad side effects, definitely felt the second or third dose in my head though (in a good way) and no issues coming off it cold turkeyI figured it would be my little experiment to see how I handle it before Kiefer stops teasing us and actually comes through with the protocol that accompanies CBL/CNSIn the mean time, i'll try EC again

Actually very good point. Concerta is legal low dose meth. I imagine the gum is similar to the concerta in it's addictive properties.
