AkumaZMemberKiefer already posted about how to use nicotine here: http://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=2925.msg32070#msg32070and here: http://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=2925.msg30491#msg30491I'm going to start supping 2mg upon waking (5 am) and 2mg after breakfast (10 am)
The initial protocol yes (which is essentially what I was trying to do with my test), but I'd prefer to have all the details about cycling and such before i start chewing 4 pieces a day

Dr. Rocky PatelParticipantNP here, been using 2 mg 2-4 x a day this week. Noticeably decreases hunger for sure. Combined with coffee and fat in the morning makes it an incredible combo for focus and concentration, feel like my brain is “on”

CropsyMemberI'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade here and I could be totally wrong but, naturally, I'm a little skeptical of the idea of knocking back Nicotine. Surely the potential negatives outweigh the pros of possibly being more alert and possibly burning a little extra fat? And I did see this: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2010/08/100823162320.htm

I think the study and accompanying article are looking at smoking as the vessel for the nicotine, which is a totally different ball game.Even though a cigarette and piece of 2-4mg gum have about the same nicotine content, the way in which they are absorbed make a huge difference. Smoking the nicotine hits your system almost immediately through the lungs, and can be detected in the brain something like 10-20 seconds after a puff. Combine that with the fact that a cig probably only lasts a couple of minutes, and you're getting all that nicotine real fast. The gum takes about a half an hour and is absorbed through the gums into the bloodstream.Smoking is also much more addictive, probably for some of the same reasons (rapid absorption which also leads to that good feeling rapidly). I was on the the gum for a month, came off cold turkey with zero issues. Even while I was on it, there was no physiological need for me to do it, I had to actually remind myself to take dosesYou might compare it to drinking alcohol versus shoving an alcohol soaked vessel up your orifice maybe? Or at least my understanding of it. One way has it pass through the liver before it hits the bloodstream, the other does not and is much more dangerous.

thrownullpointerMemberThe difference is the amount of nicotine. For the purpose we are using it for the gum is ideal. Cigarettes and dip are addictive because the amount of nicotine is much higher. Doing my second run of nicotine gum(4mg piece cut in half), and I had no problem stopping. Although I have never been a smoker or dipper.
Cigarettes at least have over 4000 chemicals added to them to make them more addictive (rocket fuel is my favorite one), i am going to assume the same for the pouches.
Please name a few of these chemicals and give citations from medical journals that PROVES they are addictive. You think "rocket fuel" is addicitve?Cigarettes don't contain rocket fuel. What is this 3rd grade? They contain ingredients similar to rocket fuel such as dimethylnitrosamine. And the fact remains living next to a factory can lead to more ingestion of dimethylnitrosamine than smoking cigarettes.Furthermore the people who claim all of these chemicals "are addictive" never cite their sources.Nicotine is clearly the active drug in cigarettes and cleary its what we are after. Drugs of any sort (caffeine, nicotine) are addictive by their VERY NATURE.All of the other crap in cigarettes is what helps them burn & have their flavor (which smokers claim is good). The addiction is to the nicotine which is why people use gum/patches to quit. You don't withdraw from any of the other shit in ciggs.

I couldn't find it without the sorbitol either. I figured with sorbitol as the last ingredient and being absent ace-k, it was the lesser of the evilsI can't find any without sorbitol or ace k
