preppypyroGuestIm glad the egg question came up (as it usually does in different forums from time to time) I dont eat 20 eggs a day, that sounds insane to me, Id never be able to eay 20, and Im a big dude! I do eat 5ish a day, with a bunch of stuff mixed in with em, and cook em in butter. Gotta be my favorite low carb meal. I also eat whole eggs, i dont mess around with the whites.Just curious what any of you guys think about some of the claims about cholesterol. I know my viewpoint after reading a bunch about it, just curious what others think.

Richard SchmittModeratorYeah the Cholesterol has kinda been discussed on the forums and I believe on a podcast. If you need or want more information, I'm sure Dr Patel would not mind helping you out if you PM him

PhattyMemberMy stance on cholesterol is that I'm not old enough to worry about cholesterol. I'll leave it to my Nan to bitch about her levels and I'll continue to munch on as many eggs as I require.

Robert GrayParticipantI've never eaten more than six eggs in a sitting, but I've lost weight eating eighteen a day, all cooked in ghee and served with vegetables.

I love cheese, but I stick to raw, organic cheeses (generally cheddars or jacks). That said, if I go too much over 5oz. a day, I tend to stall a bit.Cory

I was a BB'er, and ate old-school, LONG before these forums / diets. So, I eat big to get / stay big. 8)Furthermore, as a Vegetarian, I utilize eggs as my primary whole food protein source, and throw in cheeses to get the rest done.Cory
