hi guys,i have a question: i'm density bulking and training at around 19 pm and going to bed at around 23.30 pm, so not a big window. I used not to eat carbs pre and during training but just read in the "late night session"  thread that kiefer recommends already eating before training because of the short window. But is training at 19 pm = a late night session? or should the protocol be like an afternoon session, so waiting till after workout?thx!

Have carbs pre workout if you can't eat all of them after. Even better, add carbs intra-workout, around half was through first.

I would actually avoid carbs pre-workout, unless you are density bulking.  Figure out what you can eat post workout.  If you can fit all of your carbs in that time slot, great.  If not, make up the difference by adding the carbs to an intra workout shake.  Drink that about halfway through your workout. You have 4 and a half hours between the start of your workout and bed time.  There's no reason you can't get a couple hundred grams of carbs.
