The ebook will tell me everything I need to know then? Any other good resources on 5/3/1? I'd never heard of it before, but after doing a search it seems to be a popular routine.

the ebook has it all but honestly if you have been lifting for awhile id just look around at youtube videos and articles and podcasts about the routine all the information can get gotten for free.. then if your goal is mass + strength like said above just add more BB accessory stuff.. i have the 5-3-1 ebook but actually found i like shockwave more for me... although strength isn't really a big concern of mine

I'm not overly concerned with strength either, it's mostly appearance for me… I don't need mass strength, I'd rather look good, if it's one or the other.

that's how i'am... i'd rather be 200lbs ripped and squat 250lbs than 200lbs with a 500lb squat looking like good majority of powerlifters... just different goals i'm the appearance type as well:) strength will come with size just obviously not as much if you train for mostly strength

Yeah, totally with you there, I'm exactly the same, I have no interest at all in looking like a powerlifter, and I also have no time for all that machismo bullsh*t at the gym surrounding how much you can lift! I find it laughable tbh. You found Shockwave more suited to this than 5/3/1 then?

i do.. i adjusted and added a couple exercises to the routine but overall its mostly intact and following a 5 day split right now.. i'll probably stick with this till x-frame is done and then maybe check that out

Neither do I, which is annoying as I'd find that useful in the gym.
