John LaPlaca JrMemberHello,What flavor does everyone typically order when they order from True Nutrition? I ordered 3 pounds of Hawaiian punch flavor Iso/Hydro blend and it is terrible. I have been taking down horrible supplements and what not for over 10 years so if I know something is good for me I will still have it but I know it will get old soon. Do they have any good flavors?

I do, especially when mixed with another vanilla protein powder. I mix it with some of whole foods vanilla whey, and it tastes very good; like a milkshake minus the fat and texture. Also great with Milk and dextrose.

ChetSteadmanParticipant1) If it is a hydrolysate mix, that could be a part of it. I've never had hydrolysates though, so I have no personal experience. I've just heard stories lol.2) Just so you're aware, this is from the FAQ of TN:
What are the ingredients in your Premium Flavor systems? The Premium Flavor line will contain the following list of ingredients:Ingredients: Natural and artificial coloring and flavoring, Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose, Modified Food Starch, Silicon Dioxide, Maltodextrin. These flavor systems will not contain any lactose, soy, wheat gluten, or animal byproducts whatsoever.
Ace-K and sucralose are not recommended sweeteners. They don't give amounts, but I think it would be prudent to stick with the Natural flavours/stevia.

I'm confused by this. Is tht just premium or does it include natural premium?? If it does, oh well because I just ordered some of the chocolate banana.

Natural premium will not have any of the artificial sweeteners; I believe it's just stevia and maybe some soy lechitin. As for the regular premium sweeteners, they shouldn't be a problem because you're only supposed to take the protein at times when we you want to raise insulin, in which case it won't matter that the sweeteners raise it more. If you regularly supplement your protein intake w/ powders, then it's something to be wary of.

Sveta1017MemberRoger. I usually do use protein powder to supplement. Cycling a week off right now during a water manipulation experimentation. I ordered natural premium chocolate banana...extra heavy flavor. I hope it turns out well!Oh, and I usually only consume it PWO

I should have said it differently. PWO, sweeteners are fine. It's just during ULC times that they're not optimal.

backlash79MemberI still like vanilla and strawberry. Vanilla preferably because when I choose to mix it with other things like coffee or gatorade powder I can barely taste it.Might go with proteinfactory on my next order though, they have a deal right now that comes out $13 dollars less per 5 pounds of WPI.
