Kiefer says that “low carb & insulin segment of the day of Carb Back-Loading limits use of hydrolysates because they spike insulin”, so can I still use hydrolyzed whey isolate throughout my off-days as long as it’s in 10g increments? Can I just have the hydrolysate with water or do I ABSOLUTELY need to combine it with fat (since hydrolysates spike insulin faster than regular whey iso), OR should I just switch to regular whey iso? From what I gather, we’re aiming to limit the whey & hydrolysate to 10g due to the leucine content (which spikes insulin), right? But if I want to consume whey (hydro is what I have & I have a lot to go through) at any time of the day during off-days or if I want to consume more than 10 grams to replace a meal (convenience), should I combine it with some fat such as 1 tbsp of coconut milk to offset the insulin spike? Thanks for any help!Sorry for the newbie questions

You need it with fats like the  AM Shake prescribed in the book or just don't do it. Personally I'd avoid it and do a real meal.

I'm relatively new to CBL and have been doing it for a few months.  It got me to 13% BF measured a month ago.To help clarify things for me.  Other than the 10g whey isolate in the AM shake you wouldn't want to have full scoop to supplement protein needs in the afternoon?  I have been doing that on occasion.  Has it been sabotaging some of the afternoon fat burning pre-workout?  Thanks in advance for any information you provide.

No, if that's the case get a real meal in, again no not a lean cut of meat either. Its not damaging but you're not helping yourself stay in Keto while being ULC. Use whey in a PWO Shake.

I honestly dnt see why people need more than 10g of Whey in the Acclerator pre workout, if that.  I have had plenty of success using whole foods.  I agree with BigTex.  Try to get in a whole food meal

This definitely...and not just the accelerator. There are under 200lb people who propose their plans all the time that involve 100+ grams of whey a day. The book puts a heavy emphasis on shakes/supps so I don't blame people for coming in and thinking that is the way to go but whole food will always trump a shake. Supplements are supposed to be supplemental to your nutrition not a base block.
