Gl;itch.eMemberLOL Im going to laugh if the 3rd parts dosaging schedule looks generic “5g with each meal. Or 5g pre and post workout” etc. Im hoping that the 3rd part gives us Creatine Non-responders something to go off. Like either "dont bother wasting your money" or "creatine can still be useful for _insert benefit here_"

Brandon D ChristParticipantI want to know if there is any reason to cycle off creatine.

Save just a tad bit of money. I like to cycle off all supplements besides vitamins for a month every now and then just so body doesn't get use to it all. Maybe doesn't do much but does save a little money and makes ya feel good goin in and lifting big weight not using any shit.

I always cycled creatine because: 1. Traditionally creatine is cycled 2. I always felt like the effects wore off after about 6 weeks.I'd like to see what the science says.

Yeah I'm interested in the biochemistry of that as well. I personally don't think creatine mono does anything for me but it's so cheap so I take it anyways.

Marty P KochParticipantThese are all great points that may (or may not) be addressed when the third installment is (or is not) published.

bobbitt81MemberI'm trying not to be an ass out of this. Kiefer gives us so much amazing content for free, but I'm REALLY frustrated that we got this WEAK gym etiquette article, and part 3 has disappeared from any mention.I don't feel like it's unfair to be frustrated by that.

I've heard from another nutrition junky that there's no reason to cycle off. He's pretty well versed in the literature from what I've seen, and he said there's no reason. You'll resume producing creatinin after you stop if you stop, and that the water build-up within the muscles is actually slightly anabolic.I have felt similarly about the effects wearing off, but I postualted that I'd just re-calibrated my expectations.

I heard that too.

I try to steer away from the 'entitlement' mentality whenever I can and thus remain grateful for whatever tidbits come our way, especially when its for free. However, I think in this case specifically, it is all about setting expectations. When you have such a grand build-up ending with the statement, "So, want to know how much creatine to take and which kind is best? Come back next week. Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel," one feels let-down and a bit like a sucker for coming back (and back, and back) as instructed. Think: Lucy snatching the football back off the tee as Charlie Brown rushes forward, leg in motion, then... <> and the naive kid never catches on.

Brandon D ChristParticipantI think part of the problem is that Kiefer and DH exploded in popularity over the past year and Kiefer was kind of unprepared. Toss in the fact things with Naomi didn't work out…

GroogruxGuestI know Naomi helped him write the books, but what else happened?

She also moderated the forums and was responsible for maintaining the website. She pretty much did all the internet/computer stuff I think.

GroogruxGuestI meant what happened between them? Is this the reason we haven't seen any updated versions of books?
