Is anyone else out in the CBL world not eating veggies (like, at all) anymore?

I don't until dinner, then I try and have a veggie as a side dish, I really enjoy the variety and change from just meat and fats… even when my veggies are drowned in fats, lol!

Those who are eating veggies, is it more from perceived nutritional benefit or to satiate hunger?

I've gotten lazy on vegetables.  It's mostly because those I backload 5 days per week now.  Almost all my low carb meals are eaten at work and the vegetables I enjoy (broccoli, brussel sprouts) are just too much work to pack in lunches.  Plus they don't re-heat well.To compensate I try to eat them for dinner when I am low carb.  I also am trying to eat sweet potatoes and potatoes instead of rice based stuff.

I like the veggies as a way to spice up a meal, as a compliment. Its funny when you don't have a side item like veggies when you're out in public and folks just stare at you when you're only consuming meat. I agree with Ibob, they are tedious to make/pack. I found that storing them in ziploc bags then poking holes in them while microwaving makes for a good steamed veggie.

I used to hate reheating my veg in Tupperware containers because I could always taste plastic on them from the container.I got some pyrex glass containers with plastic lids and the veggies are a lot more bearable now.Prepping is still kinda time consuming so I try to keep it simple. Lately I've been boiling a big pan of sprouts and mashing them with butter and a little wholegrain mustard. It reheats well.

Same as this.. I drive around all day for work, so reheating isn't even an option and I can't stand raw veggies anyway. So I rarely get any in at all right now while DB'ing.I've also started including more sweet potatoes instead of rice.

the only vegetables I eat as part of routine are potatoes. carrots. rice. everything else I cant be bothered with. too much prep for so little nutritional value.
