    and you think that CNS would be a better fit for what I am wanting?  Do you still drink all the shakes on that plan as well?I just looked up the book - only $20, I might bite the bullet on that one, that's not bad  lol

    shakes are new for CBL as CBL is designed for lifters.. but none are even needed in CBL

    that is kind of a plus – as it was really confusing me.  I would figure it out if I need to, but wow, I commend you all with the amount of dedication and knowledge that you put in to your training.  Guess I will download the book and get reading again.

    CBL and CNS aren't a million miles from each other at all, but as SanosukeX mentions, the shakes on CBL aren't even a requirement, they can just give you a bit of help. There are more important aspects. It's more about understanding the principle of what to eat when essentially (and why), and how the body reacts to certain foods at certain times of day. Once you understand that, it all falls in to place really… just need to hit your macros and get good workouts in.  😉
