With the new recommendation of waiting 1hr before consuming postworkout shake, does this now make the 4hr CBL “window” to now 3hrs? Or continue CBL for up to 4hrs? Thx

There really isn't a time limit or window. 4 hours is just a suggestions.

+1, sometimes for myself, 4 hours is not really helpful. Because with my system it is too small of a window to get large amounts of food in. So you'll have to make it work for you.

Whew, I thought it was just me. We are both respectably sized men, and I struggle with this too. I tend to do my pwo after 1 hr, a meal an hour later WITH Digestive enzymes, and then another meal about 90 min after that. Even with it all spaced out I often feel so bloated by the second meal. And I'm on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. I tend to do pretty much all of it an hour or so. Basically a large dinner.Last night my dinner was ~1700kcal, then like 45 min later I had maybe 200-300kcal worth of cookies. And that was my backload.

I have to be careful with the amount of food I ingest within a certain time limit, especially at night. My digestive tract is broken, like no joke, I have to take pills for the rest of my life to mend it. Anyways, I had to get in 1000g worth of potatoes to get close to my carb amount needed, and took me over 30 minutes if not closer to 45. Haha.

Sounds like a marathon potato eating session!

Same for me. Workout, pwo shake 1hr later, then within an hour after that I have my dinner and backload done. I like to stick to keeping my carbs within 2hrs post workout. I find any more than that I I spill over.

I am sometimes within the “window” but most of the time not and I have no issues. If I do workout and don't eat all my carbs I'll just have another homemade CS shake before my next carby meal. In fact the CS shakes I make are pretty delicious so I may drink two or three pwo

5g- luecine 5g- L-Phenylalanine5g- creatine mono2 caps of fenugreek (610mg each)2 caps digestive enzymes (now)10g- glutamine10g- unflavored Karbolyn 15g whey15g casein1 scoop of chocolate greens powder1 large ripe banana about 150g worth2tbsp PB26 Splenda packets. I use chocolate protein powders so it fast like a peanut butter banana shake.Usually I can pick up 3 months of this stuff for less then $150.I've only tried actual CS once and didn't notice anything different in the way it made me feel. I feel like the 1hr pwo has done things for body comp not as drastic as some people have noticed but I have noticed some.

Ahh it's great though. It keeps my hunger in check and helps me not over eat on carbs in my next meal. Knocks out my sweet tooth as well so I go for more savory carbs and not dense sweet ones

What exactly is the CS supposed to do? If you normally BL with 200g does it detract from that or is it a stand alone shake, then you just hit the normal BL afterwards?

CS just amplifies your current PWO Shake, creating a greater insulin spike. With using this shake, you don't have to consume much carbs to achieve that spike needed, which is great for women who cannot hold much glycogen in the first place. Personally, I count it but not towards my overall Carb needed intake.
