TCBParticipantThe method of Warrior Diet that I've seen is you eat two small meals during the day, not fast, then have a giant meal at night. And that, I've done with CBL. I enjoyed the act of getting to eat a huge dinner, but other than that I didn't notice any real differences/advantages.

GnomerParticipanti tried the warrior type eating for a decent amount of time.. for myself i just can't eat enough to make it worth doing in terms of trying to put on size.. for losing weight it works well though..

I've been gaining weight even on the ULC days with this.

That is the modified warrior diet. The true warrior diet is where you eat one meal a day at night.

shouldn't matter much as long as you aren't doing 24 hour fasts regularly and eating enough through the day.. i went from 150-175 on the 16/8 leangaines.. i switched things up now(actually eat carbs for breakfast currently) but 3-4 meals a day seems to be the sweet spot for me and doesn't really matter how I break them up

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorI'm glad to see that others do the warrior diet or a modified version of it while CBL'ing. I'll give it a go starting Monday and see if I can get enough protein and fat in my 4 hour window along with the high glycemic carbs. I'll try to remember to give an update on this thread after a few days of backloading next week in case anyone is interested in how this works out. Thanks for the responses!
Just watch it, training really hard while doing that can be tough for a lot of people, it can be rough on the digestive system, and can lead to some thyroid issues.

I think this would depend on where you are starting and where you want to get to. Going from underweight to normal with leangains or any fasting isnt exactly miraculous. If you wanted to push this higher then I could see any kind of fasting being detrimental.

I wouldn't say I was really underweight.. at my height 150 i would be considered normal.. at 185 right now i'm considered overweight by BMI heh.. either way I don't do leangaines anymore so doesn't matter much to me but i don't see why anyone couldn't put on size doing 16/8 style eating.. i wouldn't do warrior diet one meal thing though..

Again I think that would depend on where you are and where you want to get to. If you have to eat 4-5000+ calories a day I can't imagine IF being very fun or effective.

yea but majority of people don't need 4-5k+ calories to gain size unless you are just a monster
