Aaron GGuestIve got a few more questions come to think of it. Ill just postem here instead of making another thread.1). Can I continue to use C4 as my pre-workout drink?2). Other then Creatine, Lucine, Protein, Casine, and Omega3's, are there any other supps I need too get started?3). Does it matter what time I eat my snack or lunch before I workout? Should it be timed?

1) With CNS don't use. At least I wouldn't. If you need a pick me up have coffee, black. 2) No pretty much listed them. 3) I would eat at least 2-3 hours prior.

oshareGuestKetosis has a diuretic effect so you're going to need a bit more water, but more importantly, more sodium. Peter Attia, who I would consider one of the leading keto-researchers at the moment, recommends upwards of 6g of additional sodium per day once in ketosis.

Just keep drinking. You need water for proper health and proper muscular function.Always have water on you, and sip at it throughout the day. If you are thirsty, it means you are already dehydrated.Try to get between 64-128oz. a day.Cory

+1Tweak sodium levels, and see what works, where your tolerance is, and what simpy bloats you.I tend to use a pinch of salt pre-, intra- and post- workout (in my drinks). They looks something like this (which might help with your supplement question):PRE DRINK:16 oz. water w/...5g creatine10g l-glutamine1.5g acetyl-l-carnitine3g citrulline malate3-6g gaba1g beta alaninepinch of saltINTRA DRINK: (sip during training)16 oz. water w/...5g creatinepinch of saltPOST DRINK:32 oz. water/...5g creatine10g l-glutamine1 scoop whey isolate6 tsp Modern BCAAs by USP Labspinch of salt*I also take 1g Taurine and 6mg melatonin pre-workout, and a multi-vitamin/mineral post-workout.Cory

RoaringMad MacMemberI've found that adding that little extra sodium also helps with pumps in the gym too.

Eh I wouldn't go for that. Just shoot for the maximum body weight you want to be at and that's your max amount of carbs till you find your sweet spot.
