Is there anything we can add to water like those MIO flavorings during the time of day before we train? I know we don't want any insulin response so have you found any options? Also, what about sugar free gum? Is that allowed, not matter, or what? Am I just majoring in the minors here?
Everyone is scared of Ace-K. Kiefer has stated the research shows it does raise insulin, but we don't know to what level it raises it.If you chewed 2 packs of gum a day with having ONLY flavored water I would say you might have an issue. But if you keep it to a couple pieces a day and a few glasses with MIO it's no big deal.
Thanks for the reply. I figured as much, but I'm new here and thought it would be worth asking. I stick to black coffee until about 10 but don't train until 3 and sometimes it's nice to have something other than water. Details like this are likely just annoying to you who know what you are doing so I appreciate you not flaming me.
