Scope75GuestNo problem. Lots of good and new info all threwout the webinar and for me it was great to just hear it straight from the horses mouth. What I hope people heard and will take home is don't stress/overthink/over complicate the diet and just follow a few simple rules and live your life.

Richard SchmittModeratorNo kidding, the simplicity of how to use Carb Shock was amazing, and very useful. I bought a bottle of T3

EDMUND PARKParticipantHi,What was the latest view on morning workouts, e.g.Wake up - what to take pre-workout? (I'm using caffeine and coconut oil right now)Workout - I understand no peri-workout nutritionWait one hourTake carb-shock or equivalentUltra low carb dayCarb load at night if working out the next morning?Do we take carb-shock again or no need to spike insulin at night if we are carb loading already? Thanks,Ed

Don't use Intra-workout nutrition.
So he didn't answer? That's unfortunate. While I have found that I don't need intra-workout nutrition for most workouts, the really brutal ones benefit from it.

I'm under the impression that carb shock will enhance any insulin spike, however, I'd save it for your PWO shake since it is very expensive.

You can have MCT or coconut oil and coffee pre-workout.Workout, then wait 1 hour for Post workoutAfter that have nothing, or if you really need something, MCT or coconut oil only.Eat low carb till 6pm/dinner-ish, then backload rather you are working out in the morning or not.No need for carb shock again.

Coffee is good, however he did go onto to say that caffeine with carbs in the AM TRAINING only can be advantageous. So like if you took caffeine that morning, and then some carbs in the PWO Shake, it wouldn't hurt. Caffeine/Coffee (A couple cups) is good as a Pre-WO.Carb Backload that night after the morning session, and I do assume to backload the night prior like from CBL. No need to take it again in the evening, you already took it that morning from the AM Training.
