BigDKeymasterMorning all (Well morning here in the UK)….I have been on the Carb night for some time and had superb results. My Girlfriend a self-professed "fruit Bat" decided she wanted to try it out and has been on the re-orientation phaze for 9 days today. She has had ups and downs but has ploughed through the last 9 days and without my knowledge and despite the fact I told her "not to" she got on the scales this morning and has gained 4lbs!! She is going mad at me now saying I have made her fat!! 😮So I need a bit of advice because the CNS is not the only factor here.... she also stopped smoking 4 days ago and I do recall reading somewhere that that causes water retention. Now she does feel bloated and had done for 3 days now. She is convinced it’s the CNS but I think it’s the stopping smoking! Anyone else had this issue as a result of the CNS? Or is it the stopping smoking? Any advice/Help much appreciated! Big Dave 😉

FairyGuestNicotine suppresses hunger and speeds up your metabolism. Might be worth investigating using gum? What type of exercise is she doing?Has she carb loaded yet?

Could be a number of different reasons. How were the ULC meals? What type of diet was she on previously?Did she eat/drink anything that can cause inflammtion(bloat)?

That could be your problem right there. Cheese has been given the big no no due to its insulin spiking ability. Have a look at this threadhttp://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=3411.0to get the low down on cheese.
