My husband has been using this program off and on for years. He loves it and has great success. I did it for a while a few years back and thought it was a great program. Recently he was doing a body part split due to his work schedule and lost significant strength. He went from benching 315 x 3 to 275 x 2 over a period of 6 months. He went back to the west side program and now its back at 305 x 3 in the past few weeks.
Hell yeah! Is he rocking the CBL on top of this or something different, i see in a lotOf other threads people questioning if their workouts are backload worthy, including myself lol
LOL, hardly. I taught him the principles of CBL when I started it, and he seemed really interested. The only real change he has made is to not eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. He uses what I taught him as an excuse to backload every night, regardless is he trained or not. He cant follow anything strictly and has no real physique goals. Thats just to say that I think if you ran WSFSB and did CBL it would be a great combo!
I like what im seeing here! I am overkilling my workouts at the moment doing 3 days and trying to do almost every muscle without any real guidance going for 1.5 hours +
