Oh man this Camporado is absolutely amazing.  One of the best “desserts” I've had.  Plus sticky rice is awesome.  This has become a staple of mine too.

This recipe is a good place to start:http://blog.junbelen.com/2011/01/18/how-to-make-champorado-chocolate-rice-porridge/I use cocoa powder so I don't have to mess with a double boiler to melt the the chocolate. Enjoy!

DUDE! This was awesome! I plowed thru 3 cups of rice made this way in about 2 freakin minutes! This is gonna be a staple food now. Thanks so much for passing this along! Cheers!

I totally missed this but I made some on Sunday for a backload.Luckily I managed to not eat it all so I can have some tonight. =]

I keep it clean most of the time, so basmati rice (+tomato sauce) and caramel rice cakes. When I feel naughty - ice cream  😉

and any kind of cake obviously not as good of a backloading food  but still delicious

You dont reckon? I have a whole mud cake after 2 of my training sessions. Rasperry buns on the other days usually. Never a problem with bloat from these. I always have a 1/4 tub of ice cream and cup of rice (uncooked measure) with this as well.

I just thought, ice cream & sticky white rice might be quite a nice combo

Hell yeah, I'm totally hooked on sticky rice.  I've got my first backload tonight after 10 days of prep and I've got a pint of Ben & Jerry's Vermontster (maple syrup ice cream with maple syrup swirls).  It's a flavor I've never tried but it sounds amazing.  Also having fajitas and cheesecake cupcakes.

I love Ice Cream, and it's a staple in my backloads, but how good is it actually for backloading.  Since sugar is 50% fructose and lactose doesn't elicit much of an insulin response, it seems like Ice Cream isn't all that good.  I buy a kind that has more corn syrup than sugar, which makes it better, but it also has more fat than carbs.  Not trying to break up this thread, but I see a lot of ice cream, and I really wonder how well this works for people.  Personally, I love it, and I'm thinking about adding dextrose to the relatively low-carb ice cream I have, but that would compromise the taste.  Thoughts?

Can't you guys feel when you're getting a sugar high/insulin surge? I'm pretty sure I can. And I feel it when I eat tubs of ice cream . . . just my imagination? I also feel the same thing with whey isolate + leucine
