PhattyMemberLow blood pressure...?
I haven't had it checked since 2008. It was a little high back then. Now that you mention, maybe I should get a generally health check up. I haven't had one in a while.
Could be low on electrolytes as well, you supplement with potassium?
I don't and I think you're on to something there.

MikehrMemberYeah most people eat a very unbalanced sodium-pottassium ratio especially if your eating bacon, hot sauce and eggs regularly.

PhattyMemberI did switch from using sea salt to lo-salt recently for when I do use salt to season my food to help with the potassium balance. The bacon I've been eating is as salty as it gets though.

PhattyMemberWell I went to Boots to get a potassium supp and the chemist their said they don't sell it over the counter in the UK because it's potentially lethal. :/Thank fuck for Amazon, eh?Edit: Amazon are a bit to expensive with P&P. I'll just stick to ripe bananas on CN and a couple avocados through the week. Maybe get some better quality bacon too.

Interesting, I hadn't yet shopped for a potassium supp but I had no idea you can't get it over the counter here. Where do you normally get your bacon?

I'm just as surprised. The chemist their looked at me as if it was common knowledge. How they can sell shit like orlistat over the counter and not potassium pills is honestly beyond me.As for the bacon, I stocked up on the 1kg bags (4x250g) from Sainsbury's since they have a good protein:fat ratio...and also because they were £4 a bag.

Ah, I haven't gone to Sainsbury's since those pricks stopped selling the big 650 g tubs of cottage cheese. That was before I got into CBL anyway and I hardly eat the stuff anymore. I get bacon from ASDA, it's salty but cheap and tasty.

Haha, I know. Actually I'm not a big fan of their ground beef, especially that Irish crap, but I've been eating loads of steak lately and I get decent rump steaks there. Tesco has decent ground beef but it's a bit pricier. I haven't gotten very good bacon from Morrison's or Tesco so I just go for the stuff at ASDA. My in-laws' neighbour is a butcher and I've been meaning to get to his shop and see if I can get a deal on some bulk.

I'm just relaying what the chemist there told me. Not that I trust the word of a Boot's chemist, they only regurgitate the goverment RDA.I have checked my local H&B and I couldn't find any on their shelves. I didn't ask if they sold it though.
