So what is the consensus on making “food items” with WPI?  (like crepes/pancakes?)  I know shakes shouldn't be used as a meal replacement (although I'm tempted sometimes).I have a really hard time getting in enough (or close even) protein grams without shooting my fat content up too much.  I'm doing ground beef and it has a higher protein to fat ratio that works well, but on days when I don't workout and don't have the PWO shake with an extra 24g, I'm having a hard time coming close to my needed protein.I do intend on buying more options like salmon and more chicken and turkey. I love eggs and eat those but their p/f ratio is pretty close and then throw in the fat that I need to cook them in to keep from sticking and they are more fat than protein!

First, don't be afraid to use egg whites too. Second, you can play with it, I know Kiefer has talked about using it at night would be the best time to keep negative effects of insulin increasing to a minimum.

Honestly, cooking with whey usually ends in tears. Especially if you're making low carb whey pancakes etc.Egg white crêpes are really good though, high in protein, moist and no whey required. Easy enough to add a fat source to, too.All you need to make them is egg whites, sweetener, vanilla extract and cinnamon.

Okay…actually I found a recipe that turned out okay and made “crepes” with it (egg whites, WPI, vanilla, 1/4c 2% milk) and it was fine with pnt btr (since it has some protein).  My WPI has 2.7 carbs but only because of the stevia it is sweetened with and and I made sure to have other protein with it.I just didn't know if I'd be "abusing" that having those a few times/week.I kinda get sick of chicken and turkey....those were my typical "diet food" meals 3 years ago before I started eating more beef again with Paleo (now kinda not Paleo).
