Hi, I was listening to a podcast by Keifer the other day about how he recommends heavy cream over butter in a morning coffee. Heres the link if you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OlXbY4kTDoI note in CBL he recommends whipping cream first thing in the morning in a coffee to.I understand the fats in the cream are one of the reasons why having it is recommended but how does cream fit into the CBL protocol as cream still has lactose and carbs in it the same as milk.Is it because heavy whipping cream has almost no casein as compared to milk? and it is actually the casein causing the insulinogenic response rather than the carbs and lactose? Or is there another reason why you can have whipping cream in the morning and not affect keytosis?
