Hey guys, after heavy weights on ULC days ( usually morning workout ), I have a protein shake with leucine. This is great but I'm usually hungry not long after. I normally have full fat cottage cheese with some almonds. What do you all have?, and do you think I could  eat extra food on heavy weight days?, as by the end of the day I'm more hungry than normal.

Cottage cheese with almonds? That's a snack. Also cottage cheese has too much sugar for my liking and leaves you with no wiggle room to stay under 10g carbs, and will spike insulin.    I usually have anywhere from a ton of bacon with eggs to 3-5 steaks with butter to a single 20 oz ribeye with spinach. Not saying you should eat as much as me but definitely more than what you're eating now

Almonds really aren't a great fat source, either. OK in moderation, but far better to have coconut oil, especially after your workout. If you really want some casein, then go for some hard cheese with virtually no carbs over cottage cheese.

Once again bulletproof coffee to the rescue for me. Coffee, butter, coconut oil, MCT oil and a little protein powder. Usually followed with an egg and some bacon.
