October 11, 2012 at 8:26 pm #92658 FairyGuest No, it's made of sugar. Bad bad bad. Saccharide = sugarPoly = many October 11, 2012 at 8:29 pm #92659 FairyGuest Actually… Just realised fibre is also a poly-saccharide just it can't break down into sugar…It just depends what it breaks down into. October 11, 2012 at 8:32 pm #92661 FairyGuest I'm not sure 🙁The husk does have a little bit of usable carbs in it, the gum doesn't -- but I'm not sure what it gets broken down into October 11, 2012 at 8:36 pm #92662 Shaun Hutchinson-LawsonParticipant None of the books mention anything? October 11, 2012 at 8:42 pm #92663 FairyGuest They might do. I heard Kiefer say on a podcast that the less fibre you use, the less you need. Hence, I only get like 1-2 grams a day (and this is non-intentional, I'm not trying to consume it at all).
