Mammals use this fat to keep warm, burning extra calories in the process."Mice have WAY more brown fat than adult humans do, and humans have extremely variable amounts of brown fat. The amount of brown fat a human has in proportion to everything else is tiny.Every health/fitness writer wants to write about a potential "anti-obesity pill" or whatever. That is not the likely outcome of this or any other research into fat storage. Science writing in this culture is atrocious.

I live in Memphis, TN. We have the most obese people and 4th on the list for fattest. We ROCK!

I understand what you mean, they're putting a big deal on the obesity epidemic and wanting to find the magic pill for weight loss. Even the Government set it aside and basically said we can fend for ourselves, that they don't care.
