JesiegrrlKeymasterWhat's the best workout regimen for CNS? I am a “spinner” and I also usually do 3 weight training days. Spin class is an hour. Would I not be doing that and just do HIIT workouts and how often?

Soundhound has most of the BioJacked Radio podcasts, and YouTube will have all the Tubecasts

JesiegrrlGuestSo no one answered me…. Is spin class ok to do also if I'm dong a couple HIITS a week with that?
April 15, 2013 at 5:02 pm #178273
Matthew HoopesParticipantYes, spinning can work for HIIT. I think Kiefer actually uses that as one of his examples somewhere. For instance, you would crank up the resistance and peddle as hard as you can for 30 seconds and then release the resistance and sit back and peddle for 4 minutes while your breathing and heart rate return to a lower level. Repeat for 4-6 cycles for a 20-30 minute HIIT session. Other intervals besides 0.5:4 may or may not be appropriate for your situation (i.e glycogen depletion rate).

JohnnysattyGuestNew favorite5minute walk, 25 second sprint 15%inclinex10mph then jump off the treadmill and do 20 KB swings with 55lbs which takes about 35-45 seconds X4rdsSo roughly 1:00-1:15 working time per rd and it blows your lung out so hard then walk for another five minutes, so I sprint at 5:00, 11:00, 17:00, 23:00 then walk slow to cool down
