I used to smoke (cigs) and pop massive amounts of eca/clen for a while. I was getting shredded quickly, didn't care for food and was always a snide remark away from punching someone in the face. Also, after a while I was so hooked I need the stuff to get out of bed or get a good workout in. I'm so glad I stopped all of that, shit is addictive. Once tolerance sets in, it's basically too late. Fat burners (mostly eca and clen) are a crutch when your nutrition and recovery suck. They are glorified pre-workouts which are only useful for a short while if you are running an insane deficit. I only stopped because ephedrine is illegal in Japan and I knew if I didn't kick it I would be a mess for several weeks. The rebound hunger, lethargy and headaches were quite simply horrible.Stim abuse is no joke. People couldn't believe how zen I became once I stopped taking my regular eca/pre-workout cocktail. I find caffeine gives you energy, but it's not like putting you on life support. If your CNS is fried and you are a caffeine fiend, more caffeine will not do. On ECA I basically abused my body because I felt all-powerful all the time despite sleeping very little and being super stressed. Basically, not worth it unless for a very short period of time.

Finding a quality fat burner is tough. They normally don't help burn much fat at all and are used pre contest under the facade of accelerating fat loss, but in truth, and coaches normally prescribe a shit ton of them just to keep their starving clients functional. The last real over-the-counter fat burner was ephedra. Well... That's not the whole truth. There's an even better one that you can get your hands on if you're willing: nicotine gum. But don't ask me dosages or how to use it properly. I'm not sharing.

I will say when i first used CBL i was using nicorette 2mg and a rockstar zero about 2-3 times a day, this was on top of coffee and preworkout stims. I still have some will be running it with morning cardio for 2 weeks experiment. If Kiefer would like me to log it then i will with basic medical outputs.

That was funny; yea clenbuterol made me mean too took a trip to Canada and found some at the health store…… good stuff though. It raises your body temp, at least a degree, all the time.

Clen makes you strong as hell too. Ever since I stopped it I had to work to get back to my stim-fueled PRs, but at least I don't sweat like a slave anymore and my hands have stopped shaking lolI'm a teacher and it was tough taking attendance on clen. Those darn check boxes next to the names were way too small.

Yeah honestly after a long time using fat  burners, they're a waste of money. Stick to added caffeine in coffee with coconut oil or MCT oil. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

It's not the easiest thing in the world to actually recommend nicotine in any form.  He's going to have to have some pretty well vetted research and clear benefit before publishing anything.  That takes time.

I've been wondering about using Ephedrine (is it any different than ephedra?) with CBL for a while, primarily because I have some laying around that I got before I knew anything about CNS or CBL.  Can it enhance effects at all?I know the typical dose was 25mg with 200mg caffeine 3x daily, but I'd probably just do two doses and try to avoid doing them immediately pre-workout.  Rather not have stim fueled workouts that are awesome only to have shit ones coming off.Pretty sure I consume enough caffeine already with the coffee though.Re: nicotine gum, there was a t-nation article about it a while back

I am too lazy to dig up the studies, but apparently ephedrine improves nutrient partitioning and TEF, especially if taken before a meal. I guess it could make your back-loads even more wasteful in terms of calories if that's what you are looking for. I would mostly use it to get more energy and suppress appetite on CNS or something, but that's me. It's wise of you not to rely on ephedrine to fuel your workouts. Apparently, it's not really optimal if you are looking to burn extra fat to whack ephedrine before a workout. Straight caffeine or even clen work best for that purpose.

Ephedra was way to strong for me.I currently only take caffeine occasionally with the pwo shake.Kiefer said nicotine gum works.  I've heard Rob Wolf (sp) talk about it on his podcast.  It might be something to experiment with.

Yeah, I can see that. But his comment doesn't exactly express any intent to share that information. That makes perfect sense, as Kiefer is a sharp cat and is aware, I'm sure, that knowledge is power.

I tried a little concoction of nicotine, yohimbine hcl, caffeine and albuterol a few years back. Lost alot of fat but made me feel like garbage. Definitely rather a natural approach. @ chuck, that must have been a shady health store you bought clen at because it is illegal in Canada and has been for a long time.
