    Well... That's not the whole truth. There's an even better one that you can get your hands on if you're willing: nicotine gum. But don't ask me dosages or how to use it properly. I'm not sharing.

    Hey Kiefer, I understand you don't want to share dosage, intake time, etc, but could you atleast give us a max cycle time on and minimum off period, just for the sake of not getting us hooked on the gums, while the positive fat burning effects have already faded 😀 just to keep your loyal members, who admire your work and bought your books, safe lol

    Cigarettes were extremely hard to quit – it took me many many attempts and I finally did quit years ago.  I would not mess with the nicotine – I would smoke while on the gum and the patch.  Crazy habit.  One of my goals is also to “be healthy.”

    Fat burners:Caffeine (I prefer coffee) + asprin (200mg) + ephedra (mg depends on how your body responds) is still the best fat burning stack around, provided:1.  You're not completely out of shape.2.  You're not exercising in a very hot, humid climate.3.  You're intaking plenty of water daily.  4.  You don't have any heart problems, family associated heart problems, or metabolic diseases.Nicotine gum is another good stimulant that will also blunt your appetite.  I like to chew it with another piece of gum for flavor and then just hold it in my cheek whenever I get hungry.v/rGremlin

    From personal experience I highly recommend OxyElite Pro. While I don't think it's going to “increase fat burning” at any major level it is a GREAT tool to help increase your energy and decrease your appetite. I've found it really helps me get through the first few days of prep or on days when your body is switching back into Ketogenesis. I tend to get a little loopy and can be tired on those days. Also on my off days I do a bit of a caloric deficit (I am going for body recomp right now). And I have found OEP really helps me through them.Nothing compares to the days of the original ECA stacks... Those were truly awesome tools. But until DMAA is banned I will be using OxyElite when I need it.

    I only don't want to go into the protocols because I'm putting together an article about it. There's more to it than the fat burning capabilities and it should be timed to maximize all benefits and minimize unwanted side effects. I can tell you that with my athletes, the dosages I use in women is 2 mg 2x per day, concentrated in the mornings (usually upon waking and immediately after their first meal).For men, 2mg 4x per day and eventually tweaking from there with cycling procedures. Be careful with these protocols. Nicotine can be lethal when taking in high amounts or ramped too quickly. For someone not acclimated to nicotine, one 4 mg dose can cause tremors, dizziness and cognitive aberrations for up to 2 hours.Also with men, I do a dosage split: 2mg early day (both before eating), and 2mg twice with their carb loads. Moving on from there...well, you'll have to wait for the article (and articles are on the top of the list of priorities after the first CBL update is done and after the house cleaning is finished, which is close...).

    Kiefer you are the absolute man.  Thanks for keeping me on the cutting edge and for all your work making this DH community.  Thanks to your books, articles, podcasts, SW protocol, I have gone from 230 17% BF to 205 10% BF.  I'm gonna give the nicotine a try now to get me over the last hump to 6% BF.  Thanks man

    Did some research, nicotine is the shit! It can turn of hypothalamic ampk during ULC and gives a dopamine respone, both very desirable during the ULC period. Its very anorexic and can also downregulate fattyacidsynthase during the carbload.I wonder why nobody else ever came up with using it.The only thing Im concerned about are the catecholamines released to close to bedtime and max time on/off cycles.But I can tell ya, this shit looks goooood!

    I think I'm gonna pick some 2mg gum up today and start giving it a shot. Start with a low dose and ramp it up over the next couple days. I am doing CNS at the moment, anyone know if this would cause problems due to the lack of glycogen? Kiefer said his athletes take half their dosage with their backloads but obviously I'm not doing backloads.

    +1 For OEP, strong appetite suppresant. Definetly cycle off to keep it effective.

    Ya OEP or anything with DMAA is a nice mood enhancer for longer ULC periods like prep phase or CNS.  I actually prefer Spirodex by Gaspari Nutrition though.

    I don't think fat burner means appetite suppressant. Some don't eat enough as it is, and on CBL, you must get proper amount of Macros. CBL is not a calorie restrictive diet, as has been said it is hormonal manipulation.  Therefore I would think nicotine would work differently than just keeping you from eating, especially if you take half during backloads.

    I started nicotine today, took two separate 2mg doses before eating anything. Gonna take two more tonight most likely. Stay posted I'm gonna run a log of how it goes
