thoughtsGuestDoes anyone know if the AM Accelerator Shake will inhibit the effects of Yohimbine? Is the insulin spike from the small amount of Whey Isolate and Coconut oil enough to halt the fat burning effects?I plan on taking Yohimbine + 200mg of caffeine upon waking with the AM Accelerator Shake 1 hour later. Also might add Yohimbine to the pre-workout shake.

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorYohimbine has a short half-life, so having that hour between you'll be fine.

thoughtsGuestWhat do you think of adding it pre-workout with the Ignition Formula?

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorI likely wouldn't, but you could always try.

JizzmoGuesti would only use yohimbine a couple minutes before doing cardio or weights…the half life is like 30-45min or something if i remember correctly so its not really useful to use upon waking.

Daveski731GuestSo i have been using nicotine for about 5days now and will say that nicotine post workout really helps with the backload, i had what i would consider long (time wise) backloads 3days in a row and 2 of which were non training. Still feel tight and awesomer.

FrenchFrogMemberI'm not saying it won't work (and I'm interested in the results too), but someone already tried this before:http://lowcarbconfidential.com/2012/01/25/my-last-post-on-nicotine-lozenges-as-a-weight-loss-device/Apparently he didn't lose any weight and just ended up addicted to nicotine lozenges 😛

nickl413MemberI think as long as you don't do anything stupid like take it for months at a time or pop them when you are feeling stressed, you shouldn't get addicted. Also I beleive lozenges absorb quicker than the gum. The speed at which the nicotine hits you plays a large part in becoming addicted. As for weight loss, how was that guy's diet and exercise routine?

From what I gathered through a cursory look at his blog, he was taking 4mg four times daily for months straight (possibly). It also looks like he was running mostly low carb all the time.

Looks like steady state cardio and screwing around with machines

TomahawkMemberBeen chewing 4mg 3 times a day for 4 days now. Doesnt give the kind of “high” you get with cigarettes or dip. There is no buzz since it is delivered over time. Doing my detox now and seem to really be trimming up. Obviously I am going to while detoxing, but it has seemed to help get me through my day.

thestiffmeisterParticipantJust a quick update. Been using nicotine for 3 days and while I cannot really see the difference after back-loading yet, I must say it helps curb any hunger I may have and gives coffee a nice extra kick. Going to the restaurant tonight for a farewell dinner, then back home for cake so I will be able to see if nicotine helps with my tendency to binge hard and look a little bloated the next day 😛

Ya so far the thing I have noticed most is how it helps while in the ULC of the day. Doing the detox diet and looking much leaner too. I am working 8am-5pm with only 1 chance to eat. Pretty much out in the sun the whole time. Coffee and nicotine have really helped me get through the day. The hunger gets quite bad since I dont get to eat till 12:30pm. When I do my carb nite I will definitely report how it goes. Anxious to hear the benefits in the article by Kiefer of how the nicotine will help with the back loads/carb nites. Dont want it crushing my appetite to the point I cant get carbs in my belly.
