    Hi all, I'm wanting to get back into my weekly pickup basketball game. It's very early AM and about an hour. Anyone see any issues with this as acceptable HIIT?Sent from my SGH-T769 using Tapatalk 2

    It's fine, but wouldn't consider it HIIT

    I would say that it depends on how hard you play basketball.  I consider my morning kickboxing classes to be a form of HIIT because I train and spar like my bigger, stronger, faster, smarter evil twin is planning to kill me.

    I played basketball for many years.... half-court and full court make a big difference.  Your best bet might be to sub out every 5 or 10 minutes for an extended break, if your primary focus was CNS-appropriate-HIT  and not excelling at basketball itself!  just a few thoughts i had
