So, will the excess protein/ gluconeogenesis effect me negatively from a fat loss perspective on Carb Nite if I were to eat mass quantities of protein at dinner post workout?  Would it stop me from losing body fat even if I keep it post workout? Also, if I were to over eat protein and induce gluconeogenesis throughout the week (on workout days) would it prevent me from reaping the benefits of my carb nite?

Excess protein will NOT benefit you in any way, except for filling liver glycogen (like what Trevor just said), and will not promote ideal fat loss. Get your fats and protein in an ideal amount. Use the high GI carbs post-training.

On carb nite just get 1-1.3g protein per lbs, and fill the rest of your calories from fat.
