    So, I have decided to finally post up some photos of my journey thus far…This pic is me at 230lbs. On a "bulking" diet. I was strong, but it was at the expense of another chin!lol! Not sure on bf% but it was high.

    This pic is after 6 months of following a diet with the same general principles as CNS. Low carb during the week and a “re-feed” on weekends. I was also doing a lot of circuit work in the weight room and lots of HIIT. I was around 160lbs. and 7%bf.

    How tall are you?That's a lot of FAT lost. Good work.I guess its just me, I would have stayed at 230.I would be disappointed if my arm did not fill every single one of my shirts.I would be disappointed if my shoulders were not noticed from a distance.I know its not for everyone.

    Now we are talking.CARB UP, you need more CARBS, you are not storing FAT, and you are getting bigger.More CARBS will get you BIGGER.Do it.Good work.

    Thanks ipcheck. Yes I honestly could have kept losing at 160. If I don't have carbs I honestly just waste away!lol! I am 5' 11'' by the way.I kind of did two extremes. I got fat trying to gain "muscle" and then I got too "skinny" trying to cut up with conventional meat-head wisdom. I finally feel at a happy medium and am enjoying the progress CBL is bringing.-Z

    Sounds too good to be true (and too easy)...lift heavier and eat more at night.I love this "diet"!lol!  😉Since we are talking results...Here are my lifting numbers since pairing 5/3/1 with CBL (thought it might be beneficial to include since you mentioned lifting):Deadlift - 500lb.Squat: 435lb.Bench: 285lb.These are PRs on my deadlift and squat, even when I was 230 I couldn't lift the above! Granted I benched more then, but  that will be remedied with more time in the gym.-Z

I'm 200-210 Now and I'm not anywhere near as strong as you.I don't fuck around, it is easy.You are not eating enough, if you are lifting those kind of weights and getting your volume in, you can grow easily.Do you want more muscle? This is me @ 220 lbs with 17% BF

    You sure look like you could lift those numbers man.  😉I would definitely like to be a lean (less than 15% bf) 200lb. guy, but I have a small frame to work with.I guess I might need to up the carbs on my backloads. Right now here are my macros:Training Days:Protein - 220gCarbs - 300-350gFat - 130-150gNon-Training Days (prior to training the next day)Protein - 170-190Carbs - 150-200Fat - 150-170-Z

    I'll try upping the carbs. It'll have to be after next week tho, cuz I got a wisdom tooth extraction coming up soon and solid food will be out for a litle while.  🙁My big thing is staying away from the sugar. lol. I have very dirty backloads....think cheesecake, cherry turnovers, brownies w/ ice cream, and any kind of pastry imaginable.I thought pasta was shunned on by Kiefer tho? I thought you had to cook it a certain way for it to be kosher for CBL?Nice looking family by the way.  😉  I am still trying to get my wife o board with CNS and get her in the gym with me.

    Mine comes to the gym with me every single day.Dirty Carb Loads are awesome, just eat more carbs.Fuck pasta then, lol, mashed potatoes are easy!
