jtrouve63MemberCory, I got some of that DAA and tried it this morning. Tastes just like you said. I struggled to get it down. Any tips on how to get it down easier or do I just need to grow a sack?

mandystormGuestWow this is a long post but if anyone is still interested, I've read some Ageless Male reviews and it looks like a great deal. It's natural fenugreek herb extract (Testofen) increases free testosterone in healthy males upto safe levels. That's what I thought was really interesting.

Richard SchmittModeratorYep our member Cory currently is using this product and says it is working for him. Definitely something to look into for those who need a boost or could benefit from it

Just drop it in water, and dump it back. Sometimes there isn't an easier way, unless you want to go through the trouble of capping it simply over the flavor.Cory

sarah_h88Memberhey guys,i've been tested multiple times and the results have shown that i have very low testosterone, even for a woman.since changing my diet and upping the fats, i'm hoping this will help, but i think i still need an extra boost. i'm seeing an endocrinologist, but appointments are hard to get and few and far between. they seem to be reluctant to help women out with testosterone issues because apparently it's not as important as if a man is having these issues. but i know that my having low testosterone has definitely affected my muscle growth. i've made some progress, but it's extremely slow, and i have low energy and libido when at the age of 23, i should not be having. i was taking 1000 IU of vitamin day daily, along with other natural sources. but i had to stop because one blood test came back and my vitamin d levels were too high, almost toxic. that was 6 months ago, and i'm getting less sunlight, so i'll probably start supplementing again with a lower dose along with calcium. but i'm really desperate. i want my testosterone levels to be at least normal. i'm a personal trainer and soon becoming a certified nutrition consultant, so i need to look like i actually know what i'm doing to my clients, and that i actually practice what i preach. which i do. eat properly, lifting heavy, everything, and its unfair to have this health problem holding me back from my goals. building my physique is my passion, and i work fucking hard for it, and i cant stand to be disappointed anymore by this hormone issue. any suggestions for a supplement safe for females, or something i can do would be greatly appreciated!!

PureCAMP-95 by USPowders... see my supplement log (in my signature). I can't attest to any purely physical changes beyond a some new vascularity (it's only been ~6 days), but I can tell you about the increased rage and sex drive. I don't just want to lift heavy weights, I want to fucking snap barbells in two... I actually salivate over the thought of it (kinda psychotic when I think about it). That also causes me problems with idiots, b/c I want to snap them in two as well (I really have to control myself). That's not even getting into the increased sex drive... which is getting fucking ridiculous (and it was already bad enough).Dosing presented an initial problem, so read my log re: my solution.CoryAdded note: after reading Sarah's post above... PureCAMP will not work for women. It is a highly pure form of Forskolin (the most purest you can buy), and Forskolin has only been shown to work for men in studies.DAA may work for women, but studies were only done on men.

Vitamin D, Calcium and Acetyl-L-Carnitine are safe, effective ways to optimize testosterone production in men and women, and ensure there are enough receptor sites to get it where it needs to go (your muscles).Your increased fat intake should certainly help, and egg yolks are a great source for this. You might also consider ZMAs (which work for women as well, lower dose). These will optimize testosterone and IGF-1. You could also try DAA, the studies were done on men, but I hear women have success with it (via personal recommendations, not studies).I would not recommend going the "hormone" route, you may get unwanted, permanent changes.Cory

Hmmm very interesting. Do you do a lot of volume? Maybe you could be over training. Also do you have a history of doing really low fat diets? Do have any other health issues? I just can't wrap my head around why this is happening to you. Also I would suggest trying to find another doc to help you, the person you are seeing now doesn't seem very concerned about about you.

i'm currently doing stronglifts 5x5, training 3 days a week, with sometimes a 4th day of assistance arm work. a couple of kettlebell hiit sessions in the morning fasted after backloads. i believe up until now i was probably overtraining, doing 5 or 6 days a week with a very hectic life. i've only started straightening that stuff out this summer. and yes, i was a vegetarian for about 12 years since very young. definitely a very low fat diet compared to now. i also have osteopenia, low bone density, which i'm seeing the hormone specialist about. i'm pretty sure during my vegetarian and low fat diet years i really messed something up and i hope it's not permanent. the gynocologist and the nutritionist told me that the only way to increase my testosterone was to make me gain weight and have my body fat go up. i want to gain a lot of weight, but in muscle. my body fat is around 17% last it was checked a couple of weeks ago, if it was accurate. i definitely am not going to eat to gain fat, that's for sure.

Ugh I am very sorry to hear that. It sound like you were a vegetarian during your entire pre-adolesence and adolescence, definitely not appropriate. It may just me a matter of time, the human body is rather amazing can rebound from a lot of things. You might not want to hear this, but it might be best to not push the training super hard until your health improves, but I think weight training would be beneficial.

Hey how long are your fasts everyday after your backload meaning without any food so before your oil/10g whey? I read an interesting article sayig that 15+ hour fasts routinely can lower test levels significantly it was written by a guy whod been doing IF for a year. Im trying to find the article again but i felt like that was worth adding in!
